Tracy St. Onge-May
Tracy grew up in Minnesota and started her camping life as a kitchen kid at Camp Courage in Maple Lake, Minnesota. There she also held a counselor position, working with campers of various ages and physical challenges.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a double major in Psychology and Therapeutic Recreation, Tracy continued her camp employment working at a private camp in Denmark, Maine for 15 summers. For seven of those years, she worked year round as part of the administrative team.
In 1994, Tracy joyfully joined The Summer Camp family as the first year round Camp Director. Together, Tracy and the TSC Board of Directors have created a meaningful, life changing experience for campers, counselors and staff.
Tracy has lived in beautiful Maine for the past 31 years, raising three (now adult) children. In Tracy’s free time she enjoys all outdoor activities, especially hiking, background canoeing, swimming and swinging a tennis racket. Winter brings additional wonderful activities: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, winter hiking and playing hockey.

She has worked in various positions at camp over the years including lifeguard, leadership counselor and Director of the C.I.T program. Amanda has her B.A. in Adventure Therapy from Unity College and her M.S. in School Counseling from the University of Southern Maine. By summer you will findAmanda in the office or captaining a pontoon ride on The Maine Frame. Fall, winter and spring, campers can connect with her via phone, email or skype for postsecondary and career counseling.
Jessy began working for The Summer Camp in the Bridgton office in October of 2002. During that time she was attending the University of Maine, where in 2004, she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration. Over the years, Jessy has taken on many roles at camp in addition to her primary duties as the Development Manager. She is a certified American Red Cross CPR/First Aid and Babysitter Training instructor. She provides CPR and First Aid training to our counselors in June and periodically provides our older campers with babysitting skills.
When Jessy isn’t busy with TSC, she is busy being a mother to three very busy young children ages 14, 12 and 8. She enjoys playing outside, exploring the woods, visiting the beach and riding horses.
Each spring we hire an amazing group of talented, caring young women to join our team. These individuals play a significant role in providing a memorable summer adventure for low-income and foster girls. Their compassion, strength and optimism have a lasting impact on the lives of the hundreds of girls we serve. Would you like to make a difference this summer?
