Summer Employment

Residential Camp Counselors:

If you are interested in becoming a camp counselor for girls, ages 6-16, please contact us. The girls come to camp from New York City, Hartford, Providence, Boston, Worcester and rural communities throughout New England.

Counselors are needed to live in the bunks, act as positive role models and teach an activity. Activities include: dance, drama, arts and crafts, music, swimming, canoeing, land sports, literacy, photography, hiking, adventure, science explorers and archery.

The base salary for all counselors is $1,300 for the season, which runs from June 14th thru August 2nd. Additional positions will be available to qualified counselors for a 13-day Hiking and Canoeing session from August 4th thru the 16th. If you want to help give girls from low-income families and foster homes the opportunity to play as children, please contact us .

Healthcare Professional:

Hiring a Registered Nurse or a licensed EMT to ensure the health and well-being of our campers and counselors. In this position, most duties will include distributing prescribed medicines to the campers and triaging complaints to decide if further medical treatment is necessary. Usually, we hire one nurse to work each session. You may choose to work only one ten-day session or more if desired.
